It has been widely reported that out-of-favour Marcelo and captain Sergio Ramos clashed during a training session in the build up to Real Madrid's LaLiga clash on Sunday night.

Concise News reports that the legendary Frenchman will replace Santiago Solari, who was in charge for less than five months.

"Now the important thing is that I am back, and there is time to talk and see what needs to be done".

Fifa's refusal to freeze Chelsea's transfer ban during their appeal has complicated matters, but it has not altered Hazard's desire to join Real this summer.

Zidane has been promised a £300m summer overhaul by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, according to the Independent.

Solari enjoyed a 4-1 win at Real Valladolid yesterday in what appears to have been his final stand as Madrid coach.

There is controversy as Real appoint Spanish national team manager Julen Lopetegui to replace Zidane, just three days before the Fifa World Cup is scheduled to start in Russian Federation.

Zidane also enjoyed a glittering spell with Real during his playing career, scoring a sublime volley during a 2-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the 2002 Champions League final.

"I'm very happy to be home", Zidane said.

"My heart tells me that I have rested for these months, and when Real Madrid president is calling, I want to return".

"He'll probably now sit there and think 'yeah, I think I'll wait around for PSG [Paris Saint-Germain] now'".

Ramos, Marcelo, Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema and Luca Zidane should all be the main beneficiaries of the three-time Champions League-winning coach.

Solari's future at Real Madrid looked bleak after being eliminated from both the Copa del Rey as well as the Champions League.

The Blancos captain also hit out at UEFA for handing out an extra suspension after his late booking in the first leg of the last-16 tie, which he described as "absolutely an error" for which he takes "200% blame".

With all hope of further trophy success in the 2018/19 season effectively gone, Real Madrid choose to act.

Regardless of the style of football, though, it seems the only way is up now that Zidane has returned.

His first game back in charge will be on Saturday against Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu.
