The R&B star was arrested last month and charged with sexually abusing four people. Andrea Kelly was not at the hearing and her attorney declined to comment.

The women's families - who denied that allegation - painted a different perspective of the situation, with both describing R. Kelly as a liar and insisting they'd never asked for or got payments from him, according to CBS. Kelly's team only had two stipulations, King said. I went by myself for the first time to Bank of America. Didn't know what I was doing. "I never thought he was going to hit me".

Kelly also disputed claims of repeated abuse made by his ex-wife in the Surviving R. Kelly documentary.

Wendy dedicated the start of her "Hot Topics" segment to Kelly's controversy - the second day in a row she weighed in on the topic. "You're trying to solicit me like I'm some kind of f***ing prostitute". One of his best-known hits is "I Believe I Can Fly". That is my kids' mother.

On Wednesday, Kelly was jailed again because he did not bring enough money to court to pay $161,000 in back child support. "How can I work?" The two brothers pictured in the photo later told police that Smollett had paid them to stage the attack because he wanted a raise and to further his career, prosecutors allege.

Clary and Savage claim their parents are trying to blackmail him for financial gain, something both sets of parents have denied. "How come it was OK for me to see them until they weren't getting no money from me?"

Viewers have praised the composure of CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King after she spoke with R&B singer and accused sexual predator R. Kelly, who shouted and towered over King in his first televised interview since facing new charges of sex abuse against underage girls.

Mr Kelly said he needed help, and when pressed by the interviewer about what he needed help for said it was "because my heart is so big people betray me and I keep forgiving them". When King asked if they had a three-way sexual relationship, Clary said she was not going to talk about her personal life or share what she does "in or outside of the bedroom". She went on to say that Kelly would "cough, very loudly" during the interview and that that the women were "certainly aware that he was there". They say Kelly has brainwashed their daughters and that Clary and Savage have exhibited signs of Stockholm syndrome. The 23- and 21-year-olds told King that their parents were manipulative and were only speaking out to make money.

"Our parents are out here just to get money", Savage added. A full special called The Gayle King Interview with R. Kelly will air tomorrow night (March 8) at 8 p.m. on CBS.
