Pakistan says Indian fighter jets crossed into and bombed its territory

Both countries claim Kashmir in its entirety and have gone to war twice over it. In December 2001, Jaish fighters, along with members of another Pakistan-based militant group, Lashkar-e-Taiba, launched an attack on India's parliament, which nearly resulted in the two countries coing to war for a fourth time.
