In a recent interview with CBS This Morning, the 52-year-old singer talked about his recent issues and his financial situation.

"Our parents are basically out here just to get money", Joycelyn, who met Kelly at a concert when she was just 19, said. "How can I work?"

She also said her parents had threatened to leak naked photos of her unless Kelly sent them tens of thousands of dollars.

Clary told King her parents encouraged her to "do sexual videos with R. Kelly" so they could use it for "blackmail".

Kelly now faces ten counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse; he was released on bail, but was re-arrested, this time for failing to pay the $161,000 he allegedly owes in child support. In reference to his finances, the star said he "didn't know what the h*ll was going on", to Gayle King. "I'm not, I'm your child", she said through tears.

In the CBS News interview, Kelly became emotional when he accused his critics of "trying to kill" him, and insisted allegations against him are "not true". She also sits down separately with Clary and Savage.

"At no point have the Savages requested any money from Mr. Robert Sylvester Kelly, they have never received any money from Mr. Robert Sylvester Kelly, they don't want any money from Robert Sylvester Kelly", Griggs said.
