Forecasters: A foot of snow could be on the ground by Monday

Throughout the region, even where we expect more than a couple inches of snowfall, temperatures are predicted to be only marginally cold enough for accumulation.

While Saturday stays dry, a winter weather maker will move in Sunday bringing snow, ice, and rain. Then there's a possible change to all wintry mix or rain for part of CT early Monday if the storm tracks straight over CT. "These temperatures, along with the strength of the March sun Sunday afternoon, are likely to limit snowfall accumulations". A mix of snow and rain is expected to fall before it quickly transitions to completely snow Sunday morning.
