If you thought the Antonio Brown trade was a barn-burner, there's now another elite receiver moving cities via trade.
After saying he wanted to be the highest-paid player in the National Football League, the Giants last August cast their concerns about his erratic behavior aside and made him the richest wide receiver at the time, signing him to a five-year contract worth $90 million plus incentives. The Pro Bowl wideout, who's 26 now, has topped 1,000 receiving yards in each season that he's played in 12 or more games (four of five). The deal also adds another $16 million in dead money to their running total.

There's no question the Ravens and Steelers may target a wideout this offseason, but taking on the big contract of Beckham seems unrealistic for either team. But they were willing to listen to offers, and there were teams that were interested in his services.
Even Tuesday's episode of The Herd consisted of Colin Cowherd saying how Beckham would like to play for the Rams or San Francisco 49ers. Only Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints recorded more (321). And Giants fans are eagerly awaiting a definitive decision about the future of 38-year-old quarterback Eli Manning. The Browns' odds to win the Super Bowl went from 25-1 to 14-1 at Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. Not bad for a team that went 7-8-1 a year ago.
Mayfield and Beckham are already tight; they spent part of last summer working out in California with Landry, who has been campaigning since he arrived in Cleveland for his former college teammate to join him.
