Wells Fargo bank customers should be able to access their accounts again

On Thursday, the bank said its ATM services had been restored and its mobile and online systems were working, although not all features were restored. The bank has been fined more than a billion dollars for its customer service failures. The bank's homepage was down with "technical difficulties" but said accounts were accessible through ATMs, stores and customer service representatives. The company tweeted Thursday morning to apologize to customers who may be experiencing an issue.

It should be a better day for Wells Fargo customers, as most of the company's services will be available Friday after a nationwide outage.

The Lake Johanna Fire Department confirmed an activation of the fire suppression system at the Wells Fargo facility in Shoreview, Minnesota due to construction dust, not a fire.

Dozens of comments posted beneath the announcement demanded answers and additional information. For instance, it said consumer credit card and mortgage balance weren't yet working.
