Huawei just published a tease for its upcoming device, all but confirming that the folding phone will appear at the mobile phone vent in Barcelona. Featuring the tagline "Connecting the Future", the image shows the close up of a foldable phone.
Huawei had already planned to unveil their Foldable smartphone in 2019 as announced in October. Moreover in its folded state, games could possibly be playable in the smaller display area as well, to keep the device compact and more ergonomic.
The Chinese smartphone brand, which overtook Apple in August a year ago to become the world's second largest phone maker behind Samsung, tweeted an image of a folding handset to announce its keynote presentation during the annual smartphone symposium on 24 February.
Furthermore is the new foldable design that is being released by several companies, which may not be as important as 5G but is perhaps more interesting.
