Jalen Hurts confirmed that the rumors were true - he will be transferring from Alabama to Oklahoma. He rushed for 855 yards and eight touchdowns.

He led Alabama to an 11-1 mark in the regular season as a sophomore before winning the SEC Championship Game and Sugar Bowl to once again reach the College Fotball Playoff title game.

You have to believe that Jalen Hurts is well aware of all of this and that it heavily factored into his decision to come to Oklahoma for his final season of eligibility.

During his' first two years at Alabama, Hurts threw for a combined 4,861 yards, 40 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, to go along with 1,809 yards and 21 touchdowns rushing, according to ESPN.

After leading the Crimson Tide to the national championship over Clemson in 2016 and to the national championship game against Georgia in 2017, Hurts was replaced by Tua Tagovailoa in the second half against the Bulldogs.

Hurts and Rattler will both be at the National Quarterback Club Awards Dinner and Hall of Fame Induction on Saturday at 5 p.m.at The Scottsdale Resort. Kendall eventually signed with Oklahoma but was stuck in a log jam behind a string of transfers.

Defeat to Chelsea would kill Arsenal's top four bid: Emery
There's an opportunity to put them nine points behind us, but in a personal way it's going to be a special moment". But in these 14 games I started maybe only half of them, so it's a bit hard to be consistent in this case.

While it's realistic to expect a drop-off from Murray to Hurts, people were projecting the same thing last season in talking about the transition from Mayfield to Murray.

Hurts can carry the Sooners' offense in a similar way to Murray, and for what the 20-year-old might lack in accuracy and power compared with Murray, he can make up for it on the ground - and could expand the team's run game, which still finished seventh nationally. "And I dang sure never thought I would have the power to positively impact so many people, and especially kids, across the nation like I do now", Hurts wrote in his post. I have a feeling Hurts is going to tear it up.

Oklahoma is betting that Hurts can deliver a fifth consecutive Big 12 title, a third straight trip to the CFP and maybe a playoff win that eluded Heisman winners Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.

As he said in The Player's Tribune, he believes that he's just getting started, that there are more movie moments to come.

Oklahoma initially blocked Kendall from moving to a school within the Big 12, but after much criticism, granted him a release to do so Wednesday.
