In recent years, Epic has been slowly chipping away at an all new Unreal Tournament game based on Unreal Engine 4, unfortunately, plans have since changed and now, development on the project is coming to an end. But on December 13th, everyone can explore and build on their own islands for free. As of next Thursday, Dec. 13, everyone will be able to play the Creative mode. You can even adjust gravity, how much damage the pick axe does, whether or not players drop loot when they die, and toggle things like infinite ammo and resources. Similar to Battle Royal, Epic says it's committed to updating the feature and making it "bigger and better over time".
"Fortnite Creative is new and exciting, but not final". Like Battle Royale and Save the World, this is its own experience and will give people a chance to have their own private in-game island where they can customize the world without having to worry about time limits and available materials.
The potential is quite literally endless, and hopefully in the future Epic Games' aim is to open up global servers so anyone and everyone can join in on the most popular games and view the most spectacular builds.
