Former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell seems noncommital about his retirement, but longtime rival Tito Ortiz announced his retirement from the sports of MMA following a brutal first-round knockout win over 'The Iceman' in a trilogy bout on Saturday night Nov, 24 from inside The Forum in Inglewood, California under the Golden Boy Promotions.

Ortiz seemed pretty elated to finally get one over on his longtime foe but all in all, seeing a 43-year-old defeat a 48-year-old was exactly as unusual a spectacle as you would expect.

It was a result for which Ortiz, 43, had waited years. After suffering two heartbreaking losses to Liddell in the past, Ortiz didn't hold back with his celebrations once the referee stepped in.

Tito Ortiz managed to close out the long and storied rivalry he shared with Chuck Liddell with a first-round KO in their third and final matchup last night.

Chinese consulate in Pakistan attacked by men armed with hand grenades
A separatist group, Balochistan Liberation Army, has reportedly claimed the attack, but there is no official confirmation on it. The operation, which was carried out one-and-a-half years ago, had left several BLA terrorists dead, according to sources.

That's when Ortiz blasted "The lceman" with a right hand to the chin and Liddell's eyes rolled back as he crumbled to the canvas. "You gave me an opportunity to show my skills". "There is nobody left I want to fight". It just shows you dont take 8 years off and walk into my cage.”.

"I was ready for this fight", Liddell said.

"I've got to be respectful". You made me work super hard. Chuck, thank you. You pushed me hard, dude. I made a mistake.

Ortiz, who is now on a two fight win streak, took to Twitter to thank his fans and Golden Boy promotions, stating it's the beginning of something great. I don't think it was my best showing, but I got in shape. "I don't know what I'm going to do".
