Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams on Sunday called Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp's office's newly-launched investigation into Democrats - announced two days before Election Day - "a desperate attempt on the part of my opponent".

Georgia's secretary of state's office said Sunday morning that it had opened an investigation into the Democratic Party of Georgia after a failed alleged attempt to hack the state's voter registration system.

The former Georgia House of Representatives Minority Leader is in a hotly contested race against Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp, and they are almost dead even in the polls. "I'm not testing the waters".

"Democracy is not just about our individual rights and concerns and our individual protections", Winfrey said, "but rather it lives and thrives in making sure that everybody is lifted by the community". If the person shows up to the polls without proper documentation then officials must let them come back with proof or allow them to cast a provisional ballot, giving them until the Friday after the election to return with proof of citizenship.

And, if Kemp has his way, a so-called "religious liberty" bill will pass into law which could dry up Georgia's "Hollywood" money.

Vice President Mike Pence is in Georgia today to stump for Kemp and President Donald Trump will be in the state this weekend. And so I promise that every single person who votes for Stacey Abrams, you're going to get a new auto!

Brazil Elects 'Proud Homophobe' Jair Bolsonaro As President
The anti-establishment wave that Bolsonaro rode to victory was fueled partly by anger over the findings of Moro's investigation. In a now infamous 1999 television interview Bolsonaro also said: "You'll never change anything in this country through voting".

Alec Baldwin arrested after NY parking spot spat
In 2014, he was arrested in NY and issued a summons for disorderly conduct after riding his bike in the wrong direction. An incensed Baldwin, 60, socked the 49-year-old victim in the head while he was feeding the meter, cops said.

"While we cannot comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, I can confirm that the Democratic Party of Georgia is under investigation for possible cyber crimes", Kemp's press secretary, Candice Broce, was quoted saying in the statement.

Also rallying behind Ms Abrams is former president Barack Obama and Hollywood names such as Will Ferrel and Mark Ruffalo, who have all campaigned in the midterm elections runup. She recalled generations of black Americans who faced "lynching. oppression. suppression", and declared that "their blood has seeped into my DNA" and forced her to the polls. "But I also think they're excited by the possibility it could work".

Winfrey surprised local Georgia residents by knocking on their doors and canvassing. "Canvassing for #StaceyAbramsforGovernor", Winfrey posted.

During an emotional high point of her address, Winfrey shamed non-voters for "dishonoring" and "disrespecting" late family members who weren't given the privilege of voting.

"I do", the woman responds.
