Amazon is signing a deal with Apple to expand its collection of Cupertino's hardware.

CNET reports that the iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPad Pro and Apple Watch Series 4 as Beats-branded headphones will be listed in France, German, India, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States from this month onwards. Previously, Amazon sold only older model iPhones.

News of the arrangement comes days after both Amazon and Apple reported mixed earnings results. In exchange, Amazon will remove any non-authorized third-party sellers selling Apple products from the platform.

Two of Apple's most popular products over the past year could be subject to some rather nasty malfunctions according to the company.

Apple hasn't traditionally sold its brand-new devices through official channels on Amazon, but it would seem that's changing today. Those who are now selling Apple products will need to be granted that authorization to continue selling. Any third-party listings for Apple products will be removed from Amazon by January 4, 2019. Usually when announcing a fix or replacement program the company will explain that people in certain parts of the world are affected, or people who bought devices in a particular time-frame, or have devices with a serial number in a certain range. These companies will also have to be approved by Apple, which likely means they will have to become authorized Apple service providers as well.

"Amazon is constantly working to enhance the customer experience, and one of the ways we do this is by increasing selection of the products we know customers want", an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement. The online retail giant will however not offer Apple's HomePod smart speaker, that directly competes with Amazon Echo.

The world's largest e-commerce company said it will start selling dramatically more of Apple's devices.
