Cristiano Ronaldo denies 'fake news' rape allegation on Instagram

Kathryn Mayorga, 34, of Las Vegas, claims the 33-year-old Ronaldo raped her in a bathroom at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in June 2009, the paper reported. It is claimed that she negotiated a £287,000 out-of-court settlement with Ronaldo's lawyers in 2010, which stipulated that she wouldn't go public with her allegations.

Georgina Rodriguez who is the girlfriend and mother of Cristiano Ronaldo's last child has offered her supports for the Portugal worldwide who was recently accused of assaulting a lady.

"What they said today: Fake, fake news", the star said on a video posted to Instagram.

"Ninety-nine percent of me is a good guy, I just don't know about the other 1%", he reportedly told her as he fell to his knees.

His lawyer Christian Schertz has said that they will sue the paper Spiegel that reported the story while describing it as "blatantly illegal".

As part of the agreement she was allegedly paid 260,000 Euros (AUD$417,413) and banned from speaking about the incident publicly, and was not allowed to say Ronaldo's name to her therapist.

In addition, Cristiano allegedly spoke out about the allegations in a now unavailable video from Instagram live. In her lawsuit, Kathryn accuses Cristiano of battery for sodomizing her, while also accusing him and his team members of "intentional infliction of emotional distress, coercion and fraud, and abuse of a vulnerable person".

Der Spiegel says it has documents in which Ronaldo is referred to as X and Mayorga as C. In one of the documents, X states: "She said no and stop several times". She took notice of comments about the athlete's desirability, she told the magazine, including statements to the effect of, "As if Ronaldo even needs to rape a woman".
