A nail salon erupted in violence on Friday, with a grandmother and two other customers attacked with a broomstick, believed to be over an eyebrow wax gone wrong.
In the short clip captured by Maduka, one member of staff can be seen repeatedly hitting one of the customers with a broom handle while another patron is held back by two employees.
A salon worker, Huiyue Zheng, 32, was arrested charged with assault and weapon possession, according to police. She was also released on her own recognizance.
"You can't treat us like we're second-class citizens", said one protester. The workers take broomsticks and pummel the women.
