The funeral is planned as a star-studded musical tribute, with Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Ronald Isley, Chaka Khan and Jennifer Hudson all scheduled to perform at the ceremony, according to the Detroit Free Press.

As they approached the coffin and heaping displays of roses, many people smiled, cried, crossed themselves, bowed their heads or blew kisses.
