Twitter reacts to Warriors vs. Cavaliers NBA Finals ... Part IV

In response to Kerr's comments, Thompson said the Warriors were not anxious because they were more than capable of making an 11-point lead vanish within minutes. Golden State found a way to overcome Thompson's three fouls in the first 3 minutes 39 seconds of the game, Durant's shaky start (three missed free throws in the first quarter) and Golden State's own significant absentee: Andre Iguodala.

We are now set for part four of the Warriors and Cavs rivalry, which will begin on Thursday at Oracle Arena.

We went ahead and compiled of some of Twitter's reactions to the Warriors & Cavs meeting again in the Finals, which you can see for yourself below. To get a better sense, FiveThirtyEight leaned on quantified Shot Probability (qSP) data - used to weigh the likelihood of a shot going in depending on who's taking it, how close the nearest defender is to the shot, and how quickly that player is closing out - from Second Spectrum and NBA Advanced Stats, which use high-level cameras to track on-court movement.

Needing not only all their firepower but also 27 straight misses by the Rockets during an epic cold streak from 3-point range, the Warriors rallied to keep alive their hopes for a repeat.

"We've got our bumps throughout the season", he continued.

"The Rockets fashioned their halftime lead on effort, both defensively and on the glass, but when their offense collapsed in the third quarter, their verve dissipated".

Golden State fought for a 101-92 victory in Game 7 Monday at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Ireland votes ‘yes’ to repeal constitutional abortion ban
Since 2013, terminations have only been allowed in Ireland when the life of the mother is at risk, including from suicide. RTE's exit poll suggested 69.4 per cent in favour of the Yes side in the referendum and 30.6 per cent for "No".

Steve Kerr Thought Warriors Had Breakthrough In Game 5 Loss
Paul has not yet been officially ruled out for Game 7 but the rumors are that he isn't likely to play. Kerr told reporters , "I'll question him tonight, and I'll tell him that he's playing".

Steve Bruce: Aston Villa manager keen to stay after play-off defeat
Slavisa Jokanovic believed Fulham's promotion to the Premier League was a culmination of a great season long campaign. It sparked a melee between players on both sides and like Fredericks, Grealish was lucky to stay on the pitch.

"I hate when people say that", Curry said.

With Paul sidelined for the second straight game by a strained right hamstring, the Rockets needed a superhero night from probable MVP James Harden to have a realistic shot at dethroning the defending champions. But suddenly Houston made a decision to start chucking 3-pointers at an even higher rate. Unable to stop the carnage, Paul watched in agony as Houston spiraled out of control, throwing away passes, tossing up wild shots and looking like a team that had no business being anywhere near the National Basketball Association finals. Which is why it's easy to wonder if a healthy Paul would have been enough to stop the Warriors second-half surge.

The Warriors beat the Rockets 115-86 on Saturday to level the series and force their decisive game seven on Monday in Houston.

Kerr said the raw talent of the Warriors line-up, with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson suddenly clicking, was decisive. We've got to do a little bit better, and it would be nice if they would help out a little bit, but it seems like they're not. James is now 6-2 in Game 7 situations after losing his first two. "That's what their trademark is; we know it and it's not like it's a secret".

The Warriors are just devastating in the third quarter, and they picked the ideal time to continue that trend.

Those expectations finally became too much in the most important game any player on the team - with the exception of Aron Baynes - had ever participated in. However, their inability to make shots (even open shots), ultimately decided the fate of this game.
