Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the current Serie A season, ending a 17-year association.

Buffon said Saturday's final game of the season against Verona will be the last for him in the colours of Juventus.

The 40-year-old holds numerous Italian football records.

Asked directly about the Premier League, Buffon said: "I said that I received a few proposals, very interesting ones, both for on the field and off it".

At the end of the season Buffon may reportedly move from Juventus to Liverpool.

Liverpool FC are considering a transfer move to sign Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon this summer, according to reports in Italy. Buffon said Oliver should have been more "sensitive" to the moment in the match.

Buffon revealed this at a press conference at the Allianz Stadium on Thursday. Now I'm not sure any more.
