USA authorities have accused Mack of recruiting women to join what purported to be a female mentorship group but was actually a secret society led by Raniere.
Allison Mack was arrested in her Brooklyn apartment Friday morning and faces sex trafficking and conspiracy charges. She wasn't granted bail as her camp's offer wasn't approved by the judge, who deemed it wasn't "sufficient" for such a serious case.
Ms Mack is accused helping him to recruit women who were then exploited "both sexually and for their labour", the NY prosecuting attorney said.
He had been was arraigned to identical expenses as Mack and was denied bail as he awaits his next court appearance. The society included "masters" and "slaves", with Raniere as the secretive headmaster and Mack as second-in-command, prosecutors have alleged.

Mack has been involved with NXIVM for about a decade, after reportedly being recruited by fellow "Smallville" cast member, Kristin Kreuk. She detailed that she joined Nxivm at the young age of 23, and thought of it as a "self-help/personal growth course that helped me handle my previous shyness, which is why I continued with the program".
The FBI arrested Mack in Brooklyn.
According to documents made public, Allison Mack directed the women to have sex with Raniere and required them to remain celibate, not masturbate, and to grow out their pubic hair to please Raniere.
