Seahawks postpone visit with Colin Kaepernick after QB 'declined to stop kneeling'

The Seahawks did postpone a tentatively scheduled workout with Colin Kaepernick, as Adam Schefter reported. "Clearly, Seattle has accepted players speaking out for what they believe".

Free-agent safety Eric Reid, Kaepernick's former teammate who kneeled with him in 2016, was also apparently asked for assurances during a recent visit with the Cincinnati Bengals that he would not take part in on-field activism. He threw for 215 yards and a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks to close out a horrendous season for the San Francisco 49ers.

Kaepernick famously began sitting out national anthems in 2016, in protest over the United States government's treatment of people of color domestically and overseas.

The Knicks finished this season at 29-53, going 5-20 after the season-ending knee injury to Kristaps Porzingis . After all, the Knicks would finish with a 60-104 record with him on the sidelines these past two years.

The men were executed by firing squad, and Amnesty said their lawyers did not have access to all of the evidence against them. The report found 93 people were executed throughout the Asia-Pacific region past year , a 28 per cent decline from 2016.

The Seahawks are now looking for a backup to Russell Wilson, but are considering other options along with Kaepernick. Because they pushed all in past year on Duane Brown (good choice) and Sheldon Richardson (who signed with the Vikings... whoops!) they lack the draft capital to go out and splurge on any of the top six quarterbacks in what's considered to be a good draft for quarterbacks. Kaepernick, who nearly won a Super Bowl in 2013, may not be the same player he once was, but he is more experienced than a drafted rookie would be. According to reports, he was recently deposed in the claim.

The Seahawks are in the market for a backup QB. Carroll supported Michael Bennett's decision to sit during the anthem last season. That said, the team may be trying to use the potential employment of Kaepernick as a way to set the stage for a global resolution of the issue, including but not limited to a settlement of his collusion grievance. Duane Brown has also protested in the past, and is now on the Seahawks' roster. The organization just simply wants him to have his plan sorted out in order for the team to best understand what to expect with him moving forward this offseason and into the 2018 season.
