The next flagship is going to be called the LG G7 ThinQ and it's coming three weeks' time.

Supplied to Android Headlines by a "reliable source", the image shows Aurora Black, Platinum Grey, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matt), and Raspberry Rose colors. Apart from the color options, the render also gives us an idea of the smartphone's design language.

The Aurora Black option is reportedly the "default" color choice, which would make sense.

No spec details or images of the LG G7 ThinQ have been shared by LG, but the company does confirm that the phone will include AI features and that it "enhances the ability to interact with other devices", according to the translated announcement. It wouldn't be surprising if some of the colors will exclusively be available in South Korea, LG's home country. It looks like LG will not brand the phone with "G7" on the back and will simply go for "LG". The notch will likely house the front camera, earpiece and some additional sensors. At the rear panel, there is a vertically stacked dual camera setup positioned towards the center. On the right, there is a single lock button; on the left is the volume control and an extra button - possibly for activating a virtual assistant. The smartphone will be initially launched in NY on 2 May, followed by another launch event in Seoul on 3 May, Yonhap news agency reports. This button could be a dedicated AI button, sort of like the Bixby button on Samsung devices. It's being speculated that a "Plus" model may arrive with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The company has confirmed that it will be launching the flagship in Seoul on May 3. Well that changes now, as LG has finally revealed the launch date of this smartphone. In the G7 ThinQ's case, it's also getting a solid forehead, too, looking about the same size as the Galaxy S9's.
