A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Feige said that just as that movie set things up for Spider-Man: Homecoming, the next two Avengers films will set the stage for the as-yet-unnamed sequel.
Director Jon Watts is returning to helm the Spider-Man sequel along with the first films writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
While the title is unknown, what we do know is the sequel will directly follow on from the events of the mysterious Avengers 4. Revealing that filming is set to start in July, the Marvel chief said that shooting would take place in London due to the fact Peter will "spend time" outside the United States, in contrast to the first film which was set nearly entirely in NY. We film in London. Though Spider-Man is primarily based in NY, production will be heading to London, and there's a reason for that. We were given access to the actual CG asset from the upcoming film (in theaters on April 27th!) to ensure that it was as true to the suit you'll see at the cinema as possible.
