The Cavaliers coach has challenged the rest of his team to step up after LeBron James single-handedly evened the series against the Pacers by leading Cleveland to a 100-97 win in Game 2 on Wednesday.

They needed to change their fortunes quickly after being embarrassed and dominated by the Pacers in Game 1, and it was an all too familiar sign for the Cavaliers, who have struggled to find any form of consistency all season long.

The entire team fed off the energy of LeBron James who scored 20 points in the first quarter alone.

LeBron looked for the block but Oladipo's feathery shot was simply untouchable.

The rest of his team averaged below 50 per cent from the field but it was James who ensured the series against IN will at least head into a Game 5. "We just kind of followed his lead from there".

The series now heads to IN for the next two games with Game 3 on Friday night.

James scored 46 points in Game 2.

James then followed with four free throws as the "M-V-P" chants returned, and Collison added his final bucket. Pacers star Victor Oladipo made a 26 foot jumper at the buzzer to close out the scoring.

"'Flipping the switch' is just another word for you have one team that you're focusing on, so you can really zero in on that team", said Kobe.

Cavs Coach Tyronn Lue shook up his starting lineup, going with Korver and J.R. Smith over Jeff Green and Rodney Hood. Victor Oladipo scored 22 points to lead the Pacers, but only played 28 minutes in the game after picking up two quick fouls just over a minute into the game. He scored nine points and had 17 rebounds in Game 1.

But he came through in Game 2, playing 31 minutes and coming up big at both ends.

-Homecourt is shifting to IN with the series tied 1-1. On the Cavaliers' next time down the floor, James found power forward Kevin Love open on the left side of the court and got the assist when Love buried a triple of his own.

Oddsmakers have taken all of these things into account this season, and for the first time since James' return, the Cavs are not projected to win the East surprisingly, due to the high level of play by the Toronto Raptors. "There's no prize for a sweep", said Lue.

Golden State won the championship in 2015 and 2017, with Cleveland taking out the 2016 title. "We're very, very confident". Oklahoma City needs someone to step up with the game on the line. The Pacers never gave up as they continued to pull within striking distance.
