It's not very often you see a player making their debut in the National Basketball Association at the age of 32, but that's exactly what Andre Ingram did on Tuesday night for the Los Angeles Lakers in their game against the Houston Rockets.
Ingram led the Lakers in scoring for the first half of the game and didn't miss until 5:02 remained in the fourth quarter.
Among Laker debuts since the franchise moved to Los Angeles, Ingram's performance is overshadowed only by those of Magic Johnson (26 points in 1979), Van Exel and Jerry West (20 points in 1960), according to Elias Sports Bureau. Ingram went undrafted in 2007 and has played professionally since, mostly in the NBA's Developmental League, with the exception of a stint in Australia.
